In all my projects, I’m looking for a place and a story…

After having known a glorious past, all these villas, palaces find themselves in a state of decay.

This leads us to reflect on materiality and temporality. Composition, ornaments, frescoes, colours are the only witnesses of this ancient grandeur as buildings threaten to collapse.

I focus my attention on lines, perspectives as well as textures following a sculptor approach. This series describes interiors where materials are imposing and excessive. This power, echoing solidity, is only obsolete in the face of time. The opposition of these forces inevitably leads to the downfall of these places.
